I'm Athavan Jesunesan, a software engineer who loves crafting meaningful, intuitive digital products. Iām driven by curiosity, thoughtful design, and the challenge of turning complexity into something simple, reliable, and enjoyable.
Full-stack applications, intelligent AI/ML features, and scalable cloud architectures ā crafted with clean design, thoughtful UX, and a strong emphasis on real-world impact. I love building systems that are reliable, maintainable, and genuinely helpful to the people who rely on them.

I was born in Toronto and have lived in the GTA most of my life. I have a love for the city and its vibrant tech scene. When I'm not coding, you can find me exploring local cafes, playing sports, or hitting the gym.

I am constantly learning new technologies and staying up to date with the latest trends.
Although Software engineering is my passion I have taken interest in Data Science and AI/ML. You can expect to find projects related to those topics in my portfolio soon!
A collection of my recent work and experiments

My journey in tech has been shaped by curiosity, leadership, and a drive to build systems that scale. From optimizing cloud infrastructure to leading teams and teaching others, each step has strengthened my passion for engineering meaningful, reliable, and future-ready software.
Worked as a Software Engineer, contributing to backend development, cloud infrastructure, and text-to-speech product features. Built API systems capable of handling large traffic volumes and integrated AWS + GCP services throughout the platform.

Completed my undergrad at Brock University
Built Django applications, led client demos, and developed automated deployment workflows using Git, YAML, and AWS EC2 ā delivering projects efficiently with high client satisfaction.

Founded and led the university's largest blockchain club. Analyzed market trends, organized events, and managed club operations ā building a collaborative, high-engagement student community.
Here is where I was introduced computer science as a field. Started out by playing with Arduino's and joining the robotics club. I then went off to Brock University!
Whether you're looking to improve your software, deploy to the cloud, or bring a unique project to life ā I'm here to help turn your vision into reality.
